Feed Grade Calcium Formate

     1. Calcium Carbonate: Highly alkaline, strongly irritates the gastrointestinal tract, requires large amounts of gastric acid for neutralization during absorption, has low absorption and utilization rates, high heavy metal content, and extremely poor palatability. When added with vitamins, it easily causes reactions, reducing vitamin utilization. Not suitable for young animals and individuals with gastric acid deficiency.

     2. Calcium Citrate: High cost, ineffective in small amounts, and causes feed hardening when added in large quantities.
 
     3. Calcium Lactate: Contains 13% calcium; low calcium content. To achieve a dietary calcium level of 0.58% to 0.8%, a large amount is required, which is cost-prohibitive for feed.

    4. Huari Calcium Formate: Contains up to 31% calcium, with high utilization rates in poultry and livestock, neutral pH, low moisture content, good water solubility, and neutral properties. Mixing calcium formate into additive premixes does not cause vitamin loss, and under the action of gastric acid, it releases free formic acid, lowering stomach pH and enhancing animal immunity. Calcium formate has a high melting point and decomposes only above 400°C, ensuring it remains undamaged during the pelleting process.
